                                                                                Cubism

Within the first two decades of the 20th century, a new art movement began that was unlike any other which was called cubism. Cubism is when the artist will piece together fragments from different vantage points into one painting. Cubism was started/ credited by the artists Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso. Cubism relates to photography because you could do the same thing with a photo that you could do with a painting. The difference is that when your painting it your using a paintbrush to make the effect of cubism but with a photo your capturing an object with a camera and then using a mouse on the computer to make the same effect on the photo as you do with a painting. Some of my ideas for this assignment is to use depth of field and rule of thirds as for the object I would be capturing I’m not sure what I would like to capture yet.
